Things started off rocky because our server just thought ignoring us was a good idea! We quickly decided we needes to pivot and ask for someone else! The replacement was EVERYTHING . He saved the night with goods vibes and amazing food.

My friend and I visited Okto for happy hour and had a great experience. We tried almost every item on the happy hour menu, and these are the ones we highly recommend: the G&T, Espresso Martini, Frena, Hamachi Tartare, and Octopus Carpaccio. The atmosphere was stunning. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance, seated at a nice table, and the interior of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful.

I’ve visited Októ a few times now — both for dinner with friends and happy hour — and the ambiance never misses. The space is beautifully curated with moody lighting, good music, and an upscale-yet-inviting energy that makes it feel like a go-to spot for a stylish evening out. Happy hour is enjoyable, and the visual presentation of the dishes is consistently impressive. However, the flavor doesn’t always live up to the plating. The pasta, while beautifully done in appearance, lacked depth and seasoning, leaving me wishing for more substance behind the style. Service has been hit or miss. I’ve experienced a bartender forgetting our drink orders, and on one occasion during happy hour, our outdoor server completely overlooked us. We eventually moved inside where our new server was more attentive, but unfortunately, there were hygiene concerns that affected the overall dining experience. Not shared in judgment, just as part of the reality of our visit. Októ is great if you’re going for drinks, aesthetic plates, and a chill atmosphere. Just go in knowing the service and flavors might not always land.

What a beautiful experience it was to dine on a Friday night and enjoying mediterranean food. We picked this place randomly as we wanted to try a new place. I can truly say we were not disappointed. We got the best seat in the house next to the kitchen. Our server Brent took the time to explain the dishes and told us about off menu dishes as well. I have to tell you he knows his wine. He made amazing wine recommendation to us. The chef Yotam took the time out and told us all about the dishes we ordered. He explained us his inspiration behind the dishes. All the dishes are shareable portion. We had jumbo shrimp, Moroccan bread, Lamb chops, Halloumi bites, Branzino and for dessert we tried Pistachio ice-cream, Strawberry sorbet, and cheesecake. Our server also recommended Vecchio Amaro Del Cap which was served chill and is a digestive drink. Yes the $$ is high but you do enjoy every bite. All the dishes were a hit among the four of us. Noise is moderate, you just have to speak loud. Valet parking is available. To sum up we will be coming back here for sure to try other dishes. Rarely you get to meet the chef and talk about his food inspiration.

Spirits: Spicy Margarita - too tart, not enough alcohol content Gin and Tonic - my cousin enjoyed it. Very refreshing Appetizers: Hamachi tartare - enjoyed this dish with complimentary bread Frena- bread was soooo soft, olives, and picked peppers were great compliments Octopus carpaccio - I normally don't like octopus due to its chewy texture, but this dish was great. The octopus was sliced very thin and was very tender. I put it on the crunchy thing bread slices. Entrees: Crab squid ink linguini - I didn't like the creamy sauce. The spice took from the dish. Dish needed more seasoning Lamb chops- good Butternut squash - Sooooooo amazing!!! The service was great from start to finish. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and accommodating. I love the ambiance of this place. The bar area is very eye-catching. Great place for a date. Valet is free. Paid parking garage. I paid around $7 for 1.5 hours. I would like to come back for Happy Hour and chill on patio.

I came to OKTO on a weekday evening with some coworkers, and the first thing that stood out was the ambiance—this place is beautiful. The vibe is perfect for a relaxed evening out, and I could easily see it being a great date night spot, especially once the lights dim in the evening. The bar area, in particular, looks stunning. I started off with the Okto G&T. It was light and refreshing—great for a hot day—but probably not something I’d order again. When it came to food, though, I was really impressed. We ordered a few appetizers to share: • The butternut squash with sour cream was absolutely delicious—surprisingly one of my favorite bites of the night. • The frena (a warm, fluffy pita-style bread) came with olives, pickled peppers, and pistachio butter. It’s a small portion for a group, but the bread was fresh and the butter was amazing. • The octopus wasn’t really my thing—just a personal preference—but if you’re a fan, you might enjoy it more than I did. The highlight of the night was definitely the crab squid ink linguini in a butter sauce. That sauce was insanely good—rich, slightly spicy, and completely addictive. I ended up ordering extra bread just to soak it up. That dish alone makes me want to come back. Overall, I’d give OKTO a strong 4.5 out of 5. The drinks were okay, but the food and ambiance more than made up for it. I probably wouldn’t travel across town just to eat here, but if I’m in the area again, I’d definitely return—especially to try sitting at the bar next time.
